My Theatre Journey
Theatre found me during a period of searching—when I needed to understand not just what people do, but why they do it. On stage, there's nowhere to hide. Every choice matters. Every pause speaks. It's the most honest medium I know.
Through Golden Frame Talkies, I've had the privilege of directing and writing productions that explore uncomfortable truths, celebrate human resilience, and create space for audiences to see themselves and others more clearly. Theatre, at its best, doesn't provide answers—it asks better questions.
Philosophy
I believe theatre should be accessible, challenging, and deeply human. We don't create spectacle for its own sake or seek controversy as a marketing strategy. Instead, we craft stories that resonate because they reflect the complexities of real life—the contradictions, the ambiguities, the moments of grace found in unexpected places.
Theatre builds empathy in ways that algorithms never will. When you sit in a darkened room with strangers, watching actors breathe life into characters, something shifts. You remember that other people's interior lives are as rich and complicated as your own. In an age of increasing isolation and polarization, this reminder matters more than ever.
